From my "sources", PA has met internally to dictate the course of action but will not file Disclaimer. I don't really understand this since I thought tonight was deadline. But there you go. They aren't not filing, they are just postponing, which was obvious they were going to do this, no? (providing it was an option which is what surprised me...) |

The NHLPA not filing by midnight does not mean much at all.
They can always re-file again...

The DOI was a PR move and a bargaining chip for the PA.
Another vote can be had and they can hit the reset button on the DOI relatively quickly. |

The lawyer dude on SN seems to think it may actually help the NHLPA if they file at a later date...
Ya know they had no other choice but file kinda thing.......+ Fehr/ union management group could file without player support... |
