Will Thomas be collecting a paycheck if hockey resumes or is he just a cap hole?

If Lucic is dealt to Washington it would make my day.....i am sure we have something that could help the Bruins in trade. I cant believe the fans in Boston would ever want him out.... I am a big fanof him and the Bruins but would love to have him in DC. Give blood fight Lucic T-shirt hangs in my room. SMH at that.

Thanks, Seabass! I'll certainly be chiming in here more often, for sure. Admittedly tough to get motivated to write about stuff when the league is in the dark. Travis has a good beat on the CBA coverage, too, so there hasn't been much to talk about.

If he's suspended, which is what would happen when hockey comes back this year, he will not be paid. He'd be forfeiting the three million (His contract went 7-7-3-3, I believe) he's set to make in 2012-13.

Entertaining read Ty.

Why would a Bruins fan ever want to trade Lucic. There are 29 other teams that would love to have one of the most physically intimidating players in the league who can also score 30 goals.

sorry, I still like the "Thank-you Kessel" chants, that has to stay in 2013 & beyond.

Good read. Personally I love the Kessel chants, I want Boston fans to keep that going in perpetuity, far beyond the time Kessel, Seguin, Hamilton, and the other one have retired, like how Rangers fans still do 'Potvin Sucks'. It's fun and it keeps the focus on that deal rather than the Raycroft trade.

Thought u guys would like that...

But for reals. Seen him be great in the past, but I haven been impressed in this tourney. Especially for the guy whos meant to be our defacto #1 dman. Looks slowish on the big ice and hasnt been very physical for such a giant.

The Bruin's should trade him for Horcoff. Stanley Cup!

Up until the Russia game he has been lackluster but its a pretty small sample size. I think we should curb our expectations slightly, Dmen are projects and take time. Look at Alex Pietrangelo, their patience paid off with him.

Yes I agree, and I agree with what he said afterwards, but that doesn't mean he sucks. It means he's young and learning, and not all big guys play physical, as much we wish they would. Hal Gill comes to mind.

I'll be honest: I've watched one game in its entirety, and it was Canada v. US. It's tough to stay awake for 'em unless it's the weekend. Reading about them. Think Subban's looked good from what I've seen. Beyond that, it's kinda been a blur.
