I disagree.

It would be good for his overall development.

My wife went to Vegas earlier in the year and brought home a whole stack of cards for me to collect and trade with my friends.

I still don't know why Matt Finn was not called up to Canada? He has been a force back there for Guelph?

Is he eligible next year? If so, does he have a chance to get atleast an invite?

I guess they felt they had enough offensive d-men. It's not always the best players that get invited, they go by team needs, and in some cases connections.

But is there a good chance? I don't know how a projected first-rounder, whose got 21 points in 26 games and a +9 did not get an invite this year.

I'm not being a homer, I've watched many Storm games and he's a solid defensemen.

Because Canada is deep when it comes to offensive d-men.

Canada's team this year should be good. Can you imagine a powerplay of RNH, Huburdeau, Strome with Hamilton and Rielly on the backend?

Isn't he considered more of an All-Around defenceman opposed to strictly offensive?

No offense to Cody Ceci or the Sens...But atleast we know why he was not called up to the National Team...He has not been strong in his own end.

"Finn's game relies on his defensive smarts and his penchant for making few mistakes. Defensively, Finn's game is well developed at this time, and that is likely to be his stock in trade when he lands in the NHL. There may be some offensive upside to his game, but he will be primarily known as a heady defensive defenseman."

Too many good dmen out there.
He just might not fit a need they have.

I'm still quite surprised that Seth Griffth didn't even receive an invite to tryout for Canada, let alone make the squad.
