Well said, although I feel like an addict... I still can't quite walk away, wish I could but I can't.

Like a train-wreck... You want to look away but can't.

Probably the sentiments from all us hard core fans now. I came to this earlier. I am digusted with both sides. My flagged date is Dec 15th in which I email the Flames to just return all the money for my Season Tickets ($15000.00) & it really doesnt matter to me if I lose my rights to my 3 lower bowl seats. When hockey eventually comes back I will follow my team but it will take some time for me to go back to that arena & spend the money I have spent these last 16 years. My hockey pools & tV & these hockey sites to vent and armchair GM will be more than enough to satisfy my hockey fix.

I agree. Fire Fehr. Fire Bettman. I'm out. See you all next year. I frankly hope everybody does the same and boycott the nhl this year if there is a season and next year too. When there is a lockout, it should'nt be for nothing. I don't think when there will be a deal, that the problems will be solved.

welcome to the light. you will likely be much happier, like i have been. whenever the day comes we have hockey i will follow the preds and im sure enjoy rooting once again. if i dont... thats fine too. i do know i wont ever care as much and they may get a few bucks from me once in a while, but the days of paying and going to 20+ games a year are over. and you know what.... i havent really missed it as much as i thought i would.

I agree with you 100%

We pay the bills for both the players and owners, get excited about what our teams did in the off season, want to see how our top prospects perform at the next level, and then the rug gets pulled out from under us over the share of a $3.3 Billion pie, priced mostly for corporate season ticket holders in the big cities.

Well guess what, there is the NFL, the WJC, AHL and CHL. I would say the NBA too except the Raptors are so bad I have lost interest.

I am tuning out too and if they play again I may or may not be interested.

The events of last night have my hockey emotions in a whirlwind. I actually found myself really pissed off. It bothered me well into the night and I shouldn't have let it. I have invested a long time in my life to this game and find myself baffled and confused about what I want to do. I have been now investing my time to websites and blogs about this insane process instead of investing my time in the game that once held a very high regard to my heart. I can no longer care for what these idiots claim to be "for the fans." I may be back at some point, but guarded. This truly bums me out for all the true hockey fans out there, because we are the greatest fans of them all. Colorado College hockey is on tonight.
