i may understand one sides stance more than the other, but as far as i'm concerned, we're in at least, at least the 4th week of this whole situation being negotiable. there's no need for this to get to this point given the proposals, other than a pride war, at the fans expense.

there are 20+ year nhl supporters getting burned for the third time, who've earned the right to tell people to cram their unwarranted positivity straight up their hoops. hah

Seriously Ek. It is obvious that you are just trying to stay as positive as possible to stir up conversation on the boards and get people to come back to the site. This lockout hurts you as well, as people are losing interest in following the sport in which you base this whole site around.

The truth is, the over-positivity is starting to become obnoxious. Its almost as if you are becoming out of touch with reality or your flat out lying to people about these late night texts and convos with "key players" in hopes that people will return to read the next installment of nonsense. No one is being negative, rather realistic, and it is in your best interest to do the same because that's what people want to hear. Not some stupid meter that you made up on photoshop.

Your not a bad guy, just cut the crap and accept the fact that this season is almost definitely going to be cancelled, instead of claiming you have some kind of inside information that says otherwise. No one believes it anymore.

I will also add that from what I can tell from the time I have started coming to this website is that Eklund is never right. Ever. It actually makes no sense, because if he just re printed what guys like Bob McKenzie or Darren Dregger have already wrote, he would get some of his ideas right.

Since this lockout nonsense has started, Eklund is the only person that every single day claims that the news is positive, despite all the cancelled games, the winter classic, it's all just rosy and peachy keen. Because god for bid a season does actually start some time, he'll look like such a genius and say I told you so.

The guys a joke. Sorry just sick of reading his horribly written and always wrong assessments. Then getting chirpy in the comment section when people call him out for obviously making up dumb rumors. The other bloggers on the site are decent, except a few.

It isn't close. But you have to start negotiating to get a settlement. The fact that the NHL did something, and both sides are now going to meet. Is a positive. Kudos to the NHL
