"Cooke was overheard saying that was the first pass Tyler Kennedy ever made when he served as the designated passer."
too bad he hasn't learned yet...3rd liner for life (or until he loses his speed and becomes an AHLer) |

John - you stated the following:
"No one can convince me that whatever additional time Crosby gets from taking heavy hits to the body and to the head isn’t a good thing"
Apparently, you have concerns about Crosby's past injuries that no other Pen fan shares with you. It is time to conclude that Crosby faces no risk moving forward as it strictly relates to his past concussions. |

Honestly, I don't think Giroux is more than a little concern. But if it happens where he is out for months on end (like any player), it would be a larger concern.
But I have seen the rapid decline of good/great Flyers, including:
Lindros
Primeau
Gagne
Pronger (never played again to date)
Others I am missing
In my opinion (not shared by others), the game is very risky these days with the speed, size, strength, and frankly the rules. Many players either don't protect themselves properly because the rules "protect" them from getting hit, or they try to draw penalties. It is truly a vicious game.
As I have mentioned in the past, I don't want to see Crosby get another concussion. It's fun to see him get checked, punished on the boards, etc....but it isn't fun seeing someone get laid out for their careers. |

Does your mediocre amount of concern for Giroux's health have any consequential impact either on Giroux or yourself? |

Janne Pessonnen had a lot of goals with the baby Pens, he never did anything at the next level. So its probaly not the year. |

We're all sick of it. Giroux is a good player..nothing more nothing less. He'll have a Tanguay type of carreer.. |

So far so good. He is putting up as good of numbers as you would want right now. He didnt play in the preseason game that was in Rochester in early October so I can't comment on if his foot speed is better now after losing weight.
If his foot speed isn't better, it won't matter as it pertains to NHL gameplay. |

Don't feed the trolls, he's gone for a week. It will be longer when he comes back. Stay away from responding to him please.
Instanbul is the funnest city on the planet. That is all. I highly recommend it to anyone that enjoys hot women and a bar on every corner. |

Tangradi lost weight? I remember last year when he packed on a bunch a muscle. He thought that was the answer to making the club. Besides his skating, I have to say, I haven't been all that impressed with his hands either....at least at NHL speed. It seemed he was shaping up to be a classic tweener. If he somehow manages to break through, that sure will be an unexpected bonus.
