In theory, the Marlies should be selling out every game until the lockout is over.

Let's see how that turns out.

Good on the Rebels. We support our juniors pretty strong here.

The WHL seems to be doing a great job with attendance. A lot higher averages compared to the OHL and QMJHL.

I can believe it. It's certainly spread across winter sport states.

Alaska, Michigan, two teams in Denver, three teams in Minnesota, North Dakota, Nebraska, Wisconsin and a few others.

Wisconsin would make a great location for a hockey team. Better there than Phoenix or Florida. Same with Alaska, if they had more than 700,000 people. Travel would be brutal though.

With the season ticket waiting list being as long as it is, the sheer number of Leafs fans out there, a winning Marlies team and with a lockout in effect, the Ricoh Coliseum should be sold out until the end of the lockout.

I believe Red Deer, Sault St.Marie, Saint John and maybe Oshawa are the only cities there with populations under 100 000. Good on all of them.

only the corporate d-bags wearing suits, guys who bring their wives/girlfriends and anyone seen on camera using a phone. So about 70% of fans who attend games.

Having go from Alaska to anywhere in Florida would be a brutal plane trip for the NHL players.

So all 20,000 people at the ACC are corporate suits?

If you're lucky, the suits occupy the lower bowl which is probably in the 6 to 8 thousand people range. The other 12,000 people and the other hundreds of thousands of people who can't even get in the building should easily fill up the Ricoh.

Hell, even without a lockout, the Ricoh Coliseum should be filled.

If they spend their money right, they can survive. But two teams in Florida, forget it. One is enough.

florida is a nice play to live and a nice place to play in, and tickets are cheap. And have pretty good fans, they like hockey there.

On the other hand, id like to see columbus just fold so we can get rid of columbus and see quebec finally get their team. So THEN when a player gets drafted to columbus they wont be like oh (frank) im on the worst team in the world. If it was quebec, theyd say im on a team with alot of history and a team with amazing fans and a team that the player can look forward to, to be getting drafted too. Not (frank)ing columbus
