I was really torn on Briere/Turgeon but thought Pierre helped the Sabres get back into the playoffs, had a couple of really good years and was ultimately traded for Lafontaine +. All the others were no brainers.

I think it speaks to the young age of a lot of people on this site. It's a shame that some of these classic players are forgotten about.

No McKee on the list, either. Gotta have some good shutdown guys there.

Goes to the question if you're trying to put together an all star team, or a successful one. For e.g. you could argue Peca would be an ideal third line C, compared to Turgeon.

Agreed. With an allstar lineup, his skillset would make him an ideal 3rd line, 2-way center. Turgeon, not so much
