Seriously, we actually have current hockey to talk about after 5 months and all you want to do is whine about the Leafs?

Let's talk Wolves today.

Heads up boys...there's talk in the refs thread about this whole "Leafs suck" vs. "Canucks Suck" back and forth.

Both sides think the other started it, who the hell knows, who the hell cares.

Either way, just a heads up to tone it down as I suspect bans may be dropped a little easier than normal pretty soon for any trolling.

I'm posting this exact thing in the Leafs thread too.

You guys and your Leafs suck....let it go!

Sorry, but I'm not about to listen to a lecture on manners and ethics from a guy who so easily accepted a Monday night football win that he didn't deserve.

Is there anywhere to watch AHL hockey on cable or the internet?

How do you know I "easily" accepted the call? I said, and I quote, "it was an embarrassment to the league but I'll take the two wins".

I think the Wolves are one of the few AHL teams that has all their games broadcast. I'm sure you could either get whatever channel is carrying them or order the games over the Internet through the AHL

I don't know about TV coverage, but if you go to their website, you can listen live to their games through their radio station (Comcast SportsNet Chicago)

Do you really believe it's that big a deal?

There's a lockout. The fans are at the bottom of this totem. Yet we are to carry on with serious hockey talk when this whole situation is a joke?

Come on. Professional hockey (right now) IS the joke.

With no hockey we have resorted to hooliganism to keep ourselves sane.

Uh-oh! I sense another riot coming... HB posters taking to the streets (mostly in Vancouver and Toronto) burning jerseys and posters and hockey cards while the Fehr Brothers and Gary Bettman and Bill Daly play the fiddle as the NHL head office burns to the ground.

Should be a intense camp for the the centers and wingers. Looking at the camp roster the top 6 is going to be pretty tough to crack this year and I think we should have one the better teams this season with the amount of depth on the team. My top line would be sweat-Schroeder-kassian

I didn't say that I thought it was a big deal...I was just giving you a heads up that it was being discussed on the refs board.

We don't riot for sports in Toronto.

Trust me, if we did, don't you think we've had more reason to riot than any other sports city in North America?

I like how you included the "for sports" in your statement. We're all familiar with Toronto's recent riot history.

Also, rioting in sports almost always occurs when a team wins or loses the championship game. So of course there hasn't been any rioting in Toronto. Step 1 in rioting: Make the playoffs.

Ah yes...you are referring to the political weekend when people from Canada coast to coast came to Toronto with the intention of rioting...yes I recall that quite clearly.

Whatever helps you sleep at night. I'm sure it was only people from other provinces rioting in Toronto. Lord knows the upstanding people of Ontario would never be involved in such an atrocious act.

Weren't the people who began the rioting in Vancouver from outside of Vancouver?

Good stuff, Ian. Interesting that only Corrado would be asked to be release, I also though Gaunce would get a shot. Looks like we're sticking to the patient approach which is probably a good thing. I think Rodin is going to have a nice bounce back year. Last year was his first year in North America, he battled injuries, and as you said he was in Mac T's doghouse for some reason. Still one of my favourite prospects, especially since Gradin recommended taking him in the first round of that draft.

Wow...you're an angry individual towards Toronto. Gotta stab whenever you can I see.
