He's a Devils defense prospect. Put up 49 points in the WHL last year on a terrible team. You'll be hearing about him in the future, trust me. |

Probably injured himself so he could setback his career in hopes he'll never have to play for the Devils. |

one of the big reasons why the devils are a big reason for the lockout;
they cant figure out if they want to move to hartford, quebec, or seattle, and now they have a competing team to go to seattle with in edmonton, will it be the young guns of edmonton or the old farts of ageless players of nj?
you cant thank us NHL |

Did you guys see that Kovalchuk beat out Datsyuk AND Weber in the TSN Who's Better feature?
Right now he's leading H. Sedin in the finals by .1 percent.

To be honest, I love Kovalchuk, but I'd pick Datsyuk and Weber over him if I was going to start a team. |

idk kovy's game has really changed since his days in Atlanta. I would pick datsyuk still, but kovy is younger I believe. |

I love Kovalchuk, but Datsyuk is also a centerman. (Datsyuk, 34, and Kovalchuk, 29)
As much as Kovalchuk's game can and has already improved, there's really small chance his defensive game gets any better than Datsyuk's. At this point, the only thing I think Kovalchuk has on Datsyuk is his shooting, strength, and maybe a few other parts of his game. |

He's got a great future. The classic sign with a team but hold out until they trade you. |

the NHL is run by a bunch of idiots. HIP HIP HOORAY FOR “NEGOTIATING TACTICS”! Maybe they forgot that the key to running a successful organization is HAVING AN ORGANIZATION! These lockouts put a beating on our sport, which is and always will be at the bottom of the 4. It drives me crazy. They’re like a bunch of children. You know what each other want. So meet in the middle because you know neither side is going to give up all they want in favor of the opposition. Meet in the middle, have a season… so you can $MAKE MONEY$... which is what you $WANT$ $TO$ $DO$. Idiots. And the fans suffer because our sport is run by morons.
ugh. |
