idk kovy's game has really changed since his days in Atlanta. I would pick datsyuk still, but kovy is younger I believe.

As much as Kovalchuk's game can and has already improved, there's really small chance his defensive game gets any better than Datsyuk's. At this point, the only thing I think Kovalchuk has on Datsyuk is his shooting, strength, and maybe a few other parts of his game.

So meet in the middle because you know neither side is going to give up all they want in favor of the opposition.
