Without question, Garth, Grigs will continue this pace for the entire season, completely obliterating scoring records in every league in the history of ever.

I still wish the Habs had been able to trade for the 10thish pick so they could get this kid. I'll be shocked if there aren't at least 9 teams who desperately regret not picking him.

He needs to play the, I will show you up because you passed didn't draft me card, to those teams. Hopefully he stays motivated. During the Canada-Russia series he showed the good and the bad sides of his game. More confidence and experience and we could see a trully special player in blue and gold.

110+ points is hardly breaking scoring records. Especially for the "Q".

Lots of trolls from Edmonton Today , Must be a slow day in the City of Champions ! Why come bashing Buffalo fans dreams . I would be a little worried about my #1 overall pick going back to Russia . Hope he comes back.

Red Line Report: “As talented as Grigorenko is, he simply does not work hard AT ALL when he doesn’t have the puck, even at crucial moments in a game. One shift he had about four minutes left to go in a game his team was only losing by one goal perfectly illustrated the point. After attempting an individualistic play, Grigorenko lost the puck behind the net in the attacking zone, it squirted free to a defenseman about two feet to his right, and he just stood there watching as the defender skated the puck out of trouble without even a hint of trying to track him down or even put mild pressure on him. It would have been a real eye-opener for us – if we hadn’t been seeing the exact same thing from him for three years now.”

Contrary to popular belief, the term "City of Champions" has nothing to do with sports.

Patrick Roy and Lindy Ruff will change that without a doubt. The fact that he is staying in the Q instead of going to Russia says a lot about his character and what kind of player he wants to be.

Wow - You are passing final judgement on an 18 year old kid . I guess you are right , he will never amount to anything . Good coaching cannot correct his flaws. He showed me a lot of character staying in North America to get coached and his weaknesses corrected . Rather than bolt for the $$$ in the homeland. Like I said must be a slow day in the City of Champions.

I'm not from Edmonton, I see reading comprehension isn't a strong suit.

Grigorenko is basically Rob Schremp 2.0

Grigorenko would learn more from a Laughs & Reveen fleshlight than he would from Ruff and or Roy.

People, especially Oilers fans, seem very keen on trying to bring this guy down, but for understandable reason. You see, at the start of the year, many of us looked at this guy as the ideal #2 to slot in behind Nuge; and why not? He's big, skilled, and versatile. As the year progressed, however, we soured on him as we began to see the flaws in his game that some of us now exaggerate to attempt to support our negative opinions about him. Frankly, it's unwarranted, but let's face it; Garth posted this butt-kissing too early in the season not to get trolled!

Sorry , never noticed you are from wonderful British Columbia , only an oilers fan that obviously has too much time on his hands. Like I said he is 18 years old . Lots of coaching to be done yet . Yea sure Garth is a cheerleader for all Sabres and Sabres prospects . But at least he gives us something to read and discuss about our team. Little to early to pass final Judgement on an 18 year old kid . Come back in 10 years and we will see if your analysis is correct.

You need to get out from behind the computer and stop reading so many negative scouting reports about other teams players. Worry about your # 1 pick coming back from Russia once he gets a taste of the big money he will be making back home instead of working on improving his game in North America
