Thats funny because his move was a go to for the last few years. He isn't a bum. You trade him you regret it. His value has dropped too much to get back anything worth him. Especially if he does hit 25-30 again.

But....but.....but......we can't compete, in the AHL playoff race this year.....it's all ready sown up, according to Cloutier. The Oilers are sending an Allstar team, to compete in the AHL this year. At least 5 NHL Allstars will be playing for the Oilers AHL affiliate. Lets just give up now and save the embarrassment...........

It might help some of the young guys around the league who can play in the AHL, because if the NHL starts up late, you're bound to have more than a few NHL guys who haven't been playing in Europe or anything, but have been working out and skating and so on. But that's never going to be the same as having played, say, 10 to 20 to 30 pro games already.

I wonder if having a lot of the younger guys game ready when the big league starts will help some guys break into some lineups this year.
