Sucks about Vasiliev but I'm also glad Ghost wasnt concussed from the training camp hit.

Quick question, what can we expect from Couturier this season? more of the same or a bigger role ?

Bigger role, for sure. He's going to get PP time, and probably be locked in as the 3rd line center, seeing more 5 on 5 time

I know what you are saying, but that is more Simmonds role.

We may not have a "tough guy" on our 3rd line, but yet have one on each of our first and second lines (Harts and Simmonds, respectively).

Interesting dynamic.

(Assumed 3rd line of Read, Coots, and Talbot/Rusty).

McCrimmon was such a nice guy. I'll never forget how nice he was when he stopped to talk to my friend and I after a game for what seemed like a good half hour. He had done a charity even for my friend's sister for alzheimer's disease and we stopped him to thank him for the sister and it turned into a half hour chat

He always had time for people and was selfless when it came to his time. He was heavily involved in charity work in Calgary as well. He was one of the really good ones.

Gus is going to be the most improved player for the Flyers this year. I am expecting good things from the youngster.

I honestly believe so as well. He showed that he was capable of playing at a higher level in the playoffs.. couple that with his obvious confidence... I expect him to take a big step forward and cement himself in the lineup.

It's now or never for the kid to shine. This will probably be the best opportunity/chance he will get to make an impact.

I'm almost certain it's #27, since Talbot changed back to #25.

Didn't Talbot change numbers so Bruno could take #27? Or did I imagine that?
