Kyle Palmieri isn't a center.. Just saying. I really wish the ducks would give this guy a full chance and not forth line minutes like last year. I think he has a ton of potential.

Ducks have him listed as a right wing/center. He can play center if needed.

I thought Holland would have a shot at 3rd or 4th line center this upcoming season, but with the signing of Winnik it does look like he'll be spending most of next season in Norfolk. Might not be a bad deal considering the circumstances. The more playing time, the better.

If you don't shoot, defensemen will over play the pass. Look at Getzlaf, those passing lanes were open early in his career because he shot the puck more than once every full moon. Now, opposing D-men KNOW he's not going to shoot so they take away the passing lanes. Elite centers will shoot the puck if a shot is available, which opens up the ice for passes. Keep shooting the puck, Peter!

Holland is a player i think will actually benefit if there is a lockout because it will give him more time in the AHL before competing for the 2nd line center spot. I really think that if there is a season this year, Holland will be the 2nd center by the end of it and posssibly through all of it. Bonino is our only other option because Boudreau basically stated Koivu would play more of a 3rd line role. I like Bones but he may be more of a 3rd line center as well. Our second line should be Ryan-Holland-Selanne when it is all said and done, unless Teemu demands to play with Koivu at even strength, which may not be as effective as it was a couple seasons ago.

Teemu Selanne talked with a bunch of fans last night at the Fedorin Cup and told us there's no chance the season starts on time. Just sayin'...
