I feel like a hockeybuzz celebrity getting picked

Love the Carlson pick, seriously underrated when it comes to young defensmen in the league. The idea of him and Hamilton roaming the Bruins blueline together would be awesome. Good picks solid all around players in that list.

My Top 5:
1. Alex Pietrangelo- love his game, I think he is going to be a stud for years to come.
2. Loui Eriksson- All around player who has managed to throw up 70+ points and a solid plus minus on a weaker Dallas team.
3. Marian Hossa- One of my favorite players in the game, he has unreal hands and is impossible to knock off the puck.
4. Danny Briere- I hate the guy but he is an absolute monster during the postseason.
5. Oliver Ekman-Larsson- Really starting to come into his own as a D-man, big kid who moves the puck well

i thought you made a typo when you said scott hartnell had 37 goals, thats unreal for him. I don't know why i didn't take that much notice to his success last season.

Mike Richards style does not fit his size. He throws his body around but he is a really small guy.

nice list

5 Landeskog- physicality and skill
4 Jordan Stall- number 1 center in my book
3 Tavares- prob star but stuck on long island
2 Jamie Benn- blossoming star in dallas, dont see enough of this guy
1 Kopitar - prob a "star" now with the cup, still underrated as far as stars go

hm: backes, ott, c. neil, r. o'reilly

just notices i picked all Forward

Landeskog #1
Toews #2
Erik Johnson #3
Yandle #4
Malkin #5

There is a little homerism in there but I have a thing for forwards who can do it all at either end of the ice. Ive also always loved Yandle's game... Hes one of the best offensive weapons from the back end, good in the playoffs and not a defensive liability. I also have a lot of respect for heart and soul players who take solid fair but lower than market value contracts. It shows their loyalty and that they are more about the team than themselves.

EJ has some growing to do but I firmly believe he still has a chance to be in the discussion among some of the best big do it all two-way defenders in the league. He has an attitude and some swagger but as shown by the contract he just signed, it does not go that far beyond the ice or himself.

He is a team first guy that while he may be to young yet, still wants to put the team on his back and make things happen. Landeskog has a lot of the same qualities as well. Hes just a phenom and you can say things about that 19 year old that you can't say about good players who have been in the league for 10 years.

Honestly that list could be in just about any order for me after Landeskog.

Ryan Clowe. His toughness screams Bruins, and his willingness to stand in front of the net would be a huge boon to the much maligned powerplay. Have loved Clowe for years and think he'd be a perfect fit.

My second choice would be Clowe's teammate Douglas Murray. He may have lost a step mobility-wise, but he's another tough-as-nails defender who would look great on the Bruins third pairing.

That being said, I think it's fair to say that this countdown has a general no superstars sort of rule to it. Obviously a guy like Sidney Crosby or Alexander Ovechkin would be great here in Boston (or anywhere else for that matter), so mentioning them as a dream player is both a given and boring.

but you put Weber in there? A guy who is not only is very unlikely to ever be traded, but legally can NOT be traded for a year?

Solid choice! Mine would be Teemu Selanne.
