Well written and great idea! I'm in support. Pay no mind to the the immature losers that are bad mouthing you! Every cause, that one believes in, will have its fair share of haters.

Good Luck! Power to the People!

I hope they miss the season so the following season we get to see "thank you fans" painted under all the bluelines in the league.

Felt so good to be thanked like that.

5. NHL fans who support Stop the NHL Lockout will no longer wear team jerseys or display team merchandise of any sort until the labor action has concluded, and a new deal is in place.
- Richard Cloutier

As much as I would like to support this, I would have to go spend a bunch of money on new clothes, as 90% of the clothing I own is LA Kings or NHL related.

That last one is a toughy, but you're absolutely right. Its so unfortunate that things are the way they are, we all want to make money and earn the most for our families but there is a debt to be paid to the fans also I believe. I agree with your cause.

Wasn't old enough to care about the last lock out. But this worries me. I can only watch my pats dominate for so long.. I need my hockey fix.

Good luck with that. Your being naive, if you think that what you write or say is going to make one iota of difference to these people. We fans see it as a religion, those who own it, or play for it, see it as a business. Do they compete to win? You bet they do, but not for the same reasons that the fans follow it. A player wants to win, score points and play as much as possible. Why? To max out his worth on the open market, so when he retires, he can take care of himself, his family and future generations of his family. Same can be said about owners. Win, max out the worth of the franchise, take your yearly profit and realize, when you sell your franchise, you'll get a fortune out of it's net worth, that increases expedentially. You see, we're all suckers to our childhoods, that made us believe that we'd be on the ice competing for a Stanley Cup. I'm sure in the back of the minds of the players and owners, that it would be great to see your name on the Stanley Cup. But don't bet your life savings that they'd give up all of their riches, in return for putting their name on that Cup. It's mind numbing, when you realize that your held captive to this crap. If we didn't love the game of hockey, we'd all walk away forever!

I'd rather be naive than be a coward. I fight against things I disagree with. What do you do?

I believe in reality and remember all of the similar attempts, last time around. It made absolutely no difference when they settled. They just divied up their share of the pie and left the fans with nothing!

How about those who support the cause demand that Gary Bettman be replaced. Not being on any side but three lockouts under you as the commish shouldn't be accepted by anyone

You'll have to convince the owners to fire him.

Can't change the world if you don't try.

I get sick of laying down and taking abuse from people after a while. What about you? Do you feel like you deserve the NHL lockout? Or are you willing to stand up and just say no for a change?

This world is a mess cause of one thing. MONEY. Money leads to almost every B.S thing that happens on this earth and this is the only reason why there is talk of a potential lockout. I understand it's what makes this world run but its the only thing that matters anymore to people. When will someone with as much power such as Bettman show a signifigant act of selflessness. I dont want to sit on my ass and complain about another NHL lockout. I am a proud, loving die-hard fan of the game of hockey and Im not just going to watch the NHL go down into hell

I'm on board with all but #9. Nhl13 will be the only connection I'll have to the game I love.

Also there have been attempts like this in the past , but you gotta try

Some of the terms seem a little harsh, but I think it's a good idea. Defending Canadian National champs play in my city, so I can get my fill of action from them.
