So... I got a 12 hour ban for calling someone a jerk after they ridiculed me for 4 straight posts. I guess logic really does have no place here.

Just when you think hockey is getting a stronger fan base. Bettman takes two steps back with his negotiation tactics of calling for a lockout. It's like he wants a lockout to accomodate the teams who have difficulty filling seats until football season is over. Running a business scared is no way to grow and develop.

idk if someone reported me, or a ref banned me w/o warning. I got no message, warning, or anything... I doubt it was nfph, he's not that power-hungry like other refs.

It's actually pretty easy to not get banned. Retaliation is never the answer, even if someone is ridiculing you it doesn't give you the right to stoop just as low.

Be the bigger man and walk away. They'll get the ban and you won't.

Nfph clearly stated the other day that we're on a short leash, especially with personal attacks. Not saying he did the banning but /shrug

I would agree with you, but your avatar is wayyyy too distracting.

99% of those "bazillion" rumors came from Eklund's imagination, so let's not be stunned that he's not actually available. It's never stopped Eklund before.

The Ducks are not trading Ryan unless there is ridiculous overcompensation. Murray has allowed the carrot to be dangled just to see if anyone is foolish enough to overspend for any of his top players. ie Getzlaf to TO rumor. He never said he was on the blocks because he never was. He just allowed speculation and media hype to drive up the price on a fantastical situation to see if anyone would throw the kitchen sink at one of his players.
