Mark Stone will become one of the better players on that list. He's a beast in front of the net, and if you put him with some talent he'll bury their rebounds like it's nobodies business.

Nice work, Huds. Just a heads up that you missed a comparable for Da Costa.

Zibanejad makes the team for sure, Stone if he impresses at camp.

I find your ranking pretty interesting in that it's different than what the typical feel is among Senators followers and seemingly management...

This seems to be more the consensus among sens fans:

1. Silfverberg
2. Zibanejad
3. Stone
4. Noeson
5. Lehner
6. Ceci
7. Prince
8. Puempel
9. Maidons
10. Weircioch

With the top 6 being talked about as most likely to make an impact at the NHL level.

Shane Prince getting some high praise here from you, he's someone not often talked about in the blogosphere, but you sound as if he's your darkhorse for being the eventual best of all of them, almost

Actually there is better than average chance that both start in Bingo. Silfverberg is the most likely to make the team.

Hornqvist isnt a perfect comparison. I liken Hornqvist to more like Holmstrom, whereas I see Silfverberg more as a sniper. His shot is in the top 10 percentile . His only weakness is his off the hop quickness. I see more of a Alfreddson comparison if all goes well.

Your list is much more accurate IMO.

Yeah, I'm surprised he didn't put the standard take-all-heat-off-of-premature-comparisons word "Lite" in there after, he covered himeslef on everyone else

Bingo will probably make the AHL playoffs if that happens.

Agreed, which would be hilarious if we have found the perfect replacement for him.

Prince is definitely my dark horse. A lot of people I talked to last year had him as a late first, and I almost... well, I couldn't stand his game. I thought they were overrating another small crafty perimeter pplaymaker. But to have the kind of development he did this year and almost take charge of things impressed the hell out of me. I was wrong on him last year, that's for sure.

Other than having the same goaltending coach(Robin's father), there are not as many similarities. Lehner is more comparable to a young Luongo, relying more on size and athletics than being technically sound. He is still working on mastering his technique. Lundqvist was always about technique .

My comparison to the King is more because of the fact that Lehner and Henrik both take away the bottom of the net like nobody's business. It's a loose comparison, for sure, but I felt that was the closest because of that.

I doubt he was always about technique, remember we didn't see the guy play outside of the SEL until he was what? 25? 26?

Lehner is 22.

They are still rookies on an overhauled AHL roster. They have some work to do to be as good as some of the veteran AHL lineups. They could surge in the second half.

Lundqvist has always been a very disciplined goalie who is married to technique. Robin is more acrobatic and fiery.

One plays with ice water in his veins while the other with fire in his belly.

He should help the defense greatly but there is still a big feeling out process with that team. If Lehner plays great and steals some wins early than watch out.

He didn't put "Lite" after it because Lehner IS Lundqvist. Just accept it and move on kind sir.

I thiunk Noesen will be more of an NHL player, at least from an impact perspective than Shane Prince. Nothing against Prince, I've seen the kid play 100 games now, but I have more faith in Noesen reaching his potential. I'm also hoping for a better developmental season from old Puempel with Kitchener as well.

I have nothing but love for Ceci. Kids going to be a player, flat out.

By next year, I have a feeling he'll be fighting for the #1 spot on the prospect ranking.

Puempel should have a huge year. I expect him to be so hot that he should make Canada's WJC.

I agree on Prince, he is really the wild card of the bunch. I am concerned about his strength at the big league level.

He was tops on my wish list for this draft (realistically speaking). So pumped when we got him.
