Wangs silence aggrevates. After this deadline passes please just announce the move . It'll be easier now than when they start producing wins in 2015

Nice article .. as always..

But I think its little to late, I believe they are gone... he cant wait till last minute to pack it up. A move takes time, Betman and Wang are already quitly working on a move, trust me and it wont be a suprise either..

This has been going on longer than the Luongo speculation. You guys must be getting or are completely sick and tired of it?

I wouldn't mind if Donald Trump jumped in. While I'm not a big fan of Trump, he'll definitely put pressure on everyone to work with him and if they don't he'll call them on it.

In 2 years the whole area will be overgrown with weeds and fenced off becuase of asbestos issues. It will then be an large empty building sitting there for another 5 years before something happens, costing the average tax payer lots of money.

Is there no justice? The fat lady sang (literally) years ago when Murray denied the light house project

It was quite a sight.
In the early 80's(cup years) I remember walking from my house, two blocks to my friends house, on saturday nights to watch the game with a group of friends....In the houses I passed on the way, I would know if the Isles scored because the living rooms of those houses would erupt with noise and you could see the shadows of the people inside celebrating. When I would arrive to be informed, "They just scored", I would simply reply, "I know."

Monday could be interesting. Cannot see Charles having interest unless he sells the Isles to Monti and Rechler. I'm not even sure he would sell the team now in their current state.

I remember only being able to watch the road games since I did not have cable. First year I got cable was 88. It was a lot of fun listening on the radio.

He couldn't even get the price he paid for the team right now.
I hope they go to Brooklyn for a few years and develop Willets Point to a degree of the L'House project. It's the only way Charles can ever hope to break even/make a profit from this team. An arena isn't enough, on it's own. In a way, I would like to see him flip Nassau and TOH the bird and walk from whatever project they finally decide on for the NVMC site. And when the new arena isn't a success without its' biggest tenant, the taxpayers of LI will know squarely who to thank and blame for less jobs & higher taxes. The fact that there's so much vagueness and ambiguity on the politicos side reeks of all the bad things they've been accused of: waiting for the deal that profits them and their cronies the most.

People seem to forget that the area in uniondale is Wang's dream.. that is what he wants... that is what he has always wanted. IF there is even an inkling of a chance of him being able to build there, he will hold out hope.

I think your right. Hopefully we get some answers soon. I just do not see right now any plan in Uniondale making enough money to interest Wang. It's fustrating the team is suffering and the fans during this mess.
