Tinnordi can be a beast defensively, and can be wicked scary just as long as he keeps his gloves on.

Absolutely terrible fighter. He does his damage during the play however, not between the whistles.

Indeed. I was there when he got his face smashed in and missed a boat load of time after it. At least he was willing.

Reeeeally big guy when you stand next to him. And he has more ink than almost any prospect I've ever met.

The interesting thing with this list is sort of the evidence that the Habs had a sensational draft this year. I think they ended up getting quality throughout much of the draft.

In the rankings themselves, i'd actually put Kristo higher than Leblanc. Reason being, Leblanc can probably solidify himself as an NHLer but I think Kristo has more potential to be a better impact player. his wheels are sick, especially seeing him live, and he's got some serious hands. I agree with adding strength. I thought Kristo was a pretty slick pick once I saw him play (after the draft that year). I like him a lot.

Problem is that, so far, he doesn't seem too excited or in a rush to join the team.

Kristo doesn't seem to have much interest in playing for the Habs.

I was surprised to not see Bournival on there, although you did eventually name him in your honourable mentions.

Captain of the Memorial Cup Champs(even though they were the host), World Junior team. I would think he would have more upside than a couple of the 18 year olds at the bottom of the list

It's incredibly obvious how the 2012 draft helped the Habs.

But Charles Hudon at #10? How is this guy a better prospect than Bournival (for exemple). Hudon didn't progress at all last year.

It's probably the only pick in the last draft I'd like to change. Incredibly enough, it's the only guy from Quebec that we drafted.....

from what i hear he projects as a 4th-line centre with some grit. kinda glad he's not on that list.

For me, Hudon is boom bust. He's got the puck skills and high end IQ to be an impact Top Six player one day, or he'll be a pile of crap. Bournival is much closer, but I think he's a bit safer and projects as more of a bottom sixer. He's creativity is very non-existent, and he doesn't seem all the comfortable controlling the puck. He seems more north-south to me.

I could be entirely wrong though, and I did debate over those two.

I think Tinordi should be rated higher. I think he is going to be a solid shut down guy for the Habs for many years. Galy and Beaulieu are the only other two I'd get excited about. Those 3 are a great start for a rebuild though and the Habs already have a goaltender in Price. Shouldn't be too long before they get back to respectability.
