Johnston gives some added protection for Carlsson and the other rookies. That's a good thing. A little surprised that the Ducks took on a 3-yr deal, but worst case, it won't hurt their cap situation if they have to bury $1.1M before the deal is over. I'll be curious to see who gets moved off the roster when Carlsson and Killorn come back from IR.
Luneau was kind of a mixed bag in pre-season - some 'wow, this kid is gonna be good' moments and some 'oops' moments. I think if they could send him to SD that's where he'd be today. He gets 9 games to prove whether or not he belongs here.
No surprises on the rest of the roster. Good to see Harrington in SD if the Ducks need injury reinforcements on D, and we'll probably see Zellweger at some point.
