Just curious what makes you say probably Patrick ? Everything I have seen heard has been more tipping to the Devils liking him more but maybe that's just me as I have no connections to the situation.

I have seen the Devils liking both. I think they will play it to the end because you never know if someone really wants to make a deal and offer something you can't refuse to get to number 1.
I actually think Hischier will be the Devils pick. I think they like his creativity and offensive skill a little more...just from things i have read. |

Yeah, it seems it goes back and forth depending on whom one talks to. First, when we originally won the lottery, I was hearing that the Devils are very high on Nico and he was favored to go #1. Then, Gross reported that everything he heard at the combine was that the Devils were favoring Patrick... Everything keeps jumping back and forth; I wish they would just put their cards out on the table like Colorado did when they had the #1 pick (even though I understand why they aren't)...  |

Mike Smith has a personality to "fit the group"? So what? I want a goalie on the Flyers who can consistently stop the puck, and I'm not sure he's that much of an upgrade over Mason or Neuvirth. The Galchenyuk rumor is one that I would highly consider doing if I were Hextall, though. They need scoring...now. |
