1. "The orange looked crushed" - nice work from a good writer.
2. I wouldn't count out the Sharks' experience and the Oilers first crack at finishing a series. Winning game 4 of a playoff series is VERY hard and I think it is a complete toss-up if the Oilers can close this out or not. I also think that if there is a game 7, the odds would favor SJ.
3. In my opinion the reffing was seriously favoring the Sharks in game 5 and hopefully it is more even in game 6. I was disgusted with the reffing in game 5 and maybe it was karma that the Oilers came back to win. (notwithstanding McDavid's clear interference penalty that went uncalled).
4. Who knew Joe Pavelski was such a little worm!?!? haha I don't watch the Sharks enough I guess but I now know what Kings and Ducks fans are talking about, man that guy is a little rat!
5. When most of your players work the puck down low in the offensive zone, I am VERY worried. I don't think the Sharks have much to worry about in terms of the "old guard" getting too old and not enough young guns to replace them. I see a strong young team backstopped by solid veterans. And your 'tender is top notch. Game 5 could have been so much worse.
good luck and I hope you LOOOOOOOOSE!!! lol |

I wouldn't write off the Sharks yet each game can be completely different but yeah that was tough one to let slip away. |

@JLO
Gonna have to disagree on the reffing in Game 5. Calls were missed/ignored on both sides to the point where it was even. If they had called all the games like that, the penalty differential wouldn't be AS wide as it was but I think the PPs would still favour the Sharks (and not unfairly so). |

The enigma that is Boedker.
He is a talented player but he sucks at playing the cycle or board game. That's what the Sharks do and have always done. Change players or coaches, they cycle the puck deep.....that's their game. Absolutely not Boedker's.
He could probably successful in another system just not the Sharks.
I could see him being a game 6 scratch. |

Would not be surprised to see him exposed to Vegas. He'd be a good pick up for them and getting that $4 mill back in cap for the Sharks + potential pay cuts for Thornton/Marleau would be helpful this summer |

A lead that should not have been blown and then probably the most pathetic ot period I've ever seen. But man the defense was good in that ot. I still have faith that sharks turn it around and win the series, no reason the kids in oil town win, they have a bright future, I want marleau and Thornton to get their much deserved cup |

It's far to early to be writing off the Sharks. Except for the abysmal 2-0 shorty game and the 7-0 blowout, the games could have gone either way. The Sharks OT was anemic at best, but the Oilers haven't been the better team throughout the series. I expect the Sharks to bounce back Sat. Monday is another day. I honestly don't think I'm being a homer in thinking the Sharks can win this thing. |

Two goals lead ain't nothing, specially In the 2nd period still. This coming from a Penguins fan.
Edmonton is my 2nd team but San Jose is better all around. You should win the next game for sure. |

The Ducks are for the Kings what the Penguins are for the Flyers. I can feel the hate.
Honest question: Who's the Sharks biggest rival In California or even In the league? |

Right now I'd say it's the Kings still. Sharks and Ducks fans still don't like each other but they still don't have a lot of recent history together. They haven't met in the playoffs since 08-09'. Seems like every season the Sharks and Kings make it they play each other. Lots of bad blood with them trading victories and of course the collapse Sharks fans try to forget |
