but real talk. Still see a bunch of fire Sakic and Bednar talk on twitter the past few days. I thought about it and realistically I dont think they should do either.

Setting what Sakic has done...brining in Nieto, Barberio, Andrighetto...getting Jost signed. I think we are starting to see what the Avs identity is going to be moving forward and it aligns with what Bednar wants to do.

Those 3 guys. Jost, Compher, Lindholm, Rocco, Siemens....they are Bednar style players and Avs have looked like such a better team since they have brought in smaller guys with skill and 2 way ability, and with all the players, they can skate with speed.

Give the 2 another chance to get this team turned around. I feel more comfortable with Sakic and Bednar knowing that speed and skill is the new identity of the avs and not the big cycle monsters that Roy wanted to play.

I agree. Coach and Sakic will be back. I don't think Sakic has done a terrible job with what he was given when he took the job fully. He's had to basically build up a non existing prospect pool through the draft, then start developing them. Though I do believe this summer and 2018 tdl and draft will define him aso a gm. Can he make the nessary moves to make this team and organization better? He has the prospects now to start tinkering a bit. He has a core that is what it is, with new guys coming in. Can he move 9 for a good return? What about 92 or 6? I think he can. He just as to do it.
