The most consistent thing in the NHL is their inconsistency with these calls. It's mind boggling.

Malkin got nothing for a similar hit. DOPS is a joke.

I'm just glad it was Manning getting suspended and not someone important like Gudas.

Incredibly inconsistent. They're simply not serious about policing the league. With that being said, I think the hit was deserving a suspension. Replays I saw although brief looked like the head was the principal point of contact. I'd have to see it again to be 100% sure about that.

Markstrom hurt so Miller might not be in play. Come on teams. Call the flyers and overpay.

I don't really care, because Manning has been abysmal the past month or two, but Malkin made the exact same hit under the exact same circumstances of Blake Wheeler last week and got nothing. Players never played puck, left his feet, POC head, and Wheeler was down on the ice...nothing.
