Time for the Blues to surprise us with a great game.

I didn't expect the 2 wins in California after getting destroyed by the Kings, but they looked very good against the Sharks and Ducks. Maybe they can surprise me again against a good Pens team?

I Keep waiting for the Blues to be the next team to go on a long win streak. If they can get some steady goaltending I would not be shocked at all seeing them win 6 or 7 in a row.

It's games like this one that help me not panic.

This team is going to have ups and downs, but I feel like they are going to be ok. The fire everyone, trade everyone, we are done talk is pre mature.

It may be a boring road game that the Blues played but damn we REALLy needed that game. Solid play by Hutton and a great TEAM win. Finally a glimpse of what we have been missing for quite a while. I was hoping Perron saw Upshall.

Now Blues enjoy it tonight and get ready for Thursday. At this point you have to go with Hutton against the Wild. Let Allen start after the Break.

Was it just me or did it seem like they were finishing every check on Perron? No love lost there.

I have been thinking maybe the Blues and Jets should trade goalies. Both teams have what are considered good young goaltenders. Plus I think Hellybuck's issues are far more correctable and his upside is much higher than Allen.

I won't say trade everyone or fire everyone. I just think some pieces might need to be visited. Like Shattenkirk, goalie position and Hitchcock. Oh and Lehtera, who did great defensively and got away with a foul or two, but in the transition game is far too slow and unless the play is on the boards he struggles especially in the offensive zone.

The NBC broadcast said Steve Thomas was behind the bench last night. Does anyone know if he was running the D? They sure looked a lot better in that department.

My little town in southern Indiana has had several children take their lives and it sickens me to think they didn't get the help they needed.

I always think of our service men and women as well. As a country we do not do enough.

That's terrible when children feel like that.

PTSD because of anxiety can cause depression and heighten other mental illnesses but is itself a disorder; not considered an organic illness, thus curable.

I'm fascinated by the effect service dogs are having with soldiers coming home with PTSD. They're specifically trained to pick up on the signs when their owner is in distress and respond to them.

Have you had any first hand experience with these Guru?

Sucks about Brodziak though. I guess a broken foot blocking a shot?

I was happy Perron didn't have a broken foot after blocking Parayko's shot a few games ago, or was that Fabbri?

Last I heard Hutton is getting the start but I have been offline pretty much all day. Too much work right now unfortunately.

Not my first choice on either front.

I'd like Bishop in the Blue note on the right deal but I think he'd be a rental in a Shattenkirk deal and I think they can get better, perhaps longer term value. The Allen contract is hurting their flexibility right now.
