You seem to have a lot of confidence in our GM, which I don't understand. True jT is a different story and the Islanders have an advantage in signing him with the 8th year. However he wants to win the cup and unless this mess that is called the Islanders management from the top down is straightened out and changed don't count your chickens....

To suggest Lee or Greiss should be there instead of JT is not only a sign of lacking respect for your captain on a team friendly contract, but also a sign that you are completely naive about the purpose of the All-Star game. It's about the fans and more importantly it's about $$$. JT is a much bigger draw than the other two for very obvious reasons. It's not based on merit for the current season's performance and if you thought it was I'm afraid you're a sucker.

I love when Players are no longer Islanders and all the sudden they are all stars. Franz's stats are the same if not worse than last 2 years on Isles.. but now He is an All star.

Same with Kyle.. I am happy for them but it cracks me up when all the sudden these guys are all stars.

That would explain Okposo as He is leading team in points. Franz is 3rd behind Zett and Vanek. Vanek has more points in 11 less games. Mantha has almost the same amount of points in 13 less games. ...... I know that Franz is not a points guy.. He is a Selke type of player. I am just pointing out that as soon as He leaves the island He is praised for all he does every game. Instead of everything he didn't do.
