Thank you Carol, and I echo Lefty, you are the best..
Certainly got a chuckle out of this comment.."was amused to see AV using Max Lapierre and Tanner Glass as his forwards on a Rangers penalty kill. Seems like some things never change..." |

I'm interested in seeing how Stecher performs... I read somewhere he said he's 5'10" not 5'8" or something like that... also, Gudbranson/ Hutton combination should, I agree, be good to see.
I'm pretty excited to see how the team performs this pre-season and what comes out of the non-draft pickups and PTO players. If one or more stick it'll be a great boon to what JB is trying to accomplish here.
Hopefully some of our D prospects make others expendable. maybe Sbisa learns a thing or two... |

good ole AV... always playing favourites. I remember telling rangers fans after AV took em' to the finals that he can't make adjustments, plays favourites, has no rational basis for not liking some useful players, etc... etc... but they wouldn't have any of it, but now he's got these two there and they have been losing their minds about it for the past two seasons cuz of Glass... |

Thanks Carol,
It sounds like Rendaluc really impressed again last night, hopefully he can continue his momentum.
Edit. The video I posted in the last blog showed him with at least one really strong offensive play. |

Will be watching almost purely to see how Hutton-Gudbranson work together. A little bit for Rodin as well. |

Too much depth ahead of him that can't go back down easily and realistically they need to trim down the roster a lot.
He will earn a call up at some point IMO. |

Kinda? he doesn't have Karlssons skill so he won't make it unless he can defend. |

I did catch some Utica games Whiskey. no one mentioned Sbisa except you. Do you think Subban deserves to be on the team? |

It's too bad they're not giving him any kind of look in preseason games. I know he needs the year in Utica to catch up after last year but still would've liked to see him play a little. |

Maybe they've seen everything they need to in scrimmages. |

There is a difference between saying he doesn't deserve to be on the team, which no one is saying and he can't defend.
It isn't his strength but it certainly isn't as bad as you are suggesting. He has made good strides and as long as he continues to it is a good thing. If his name wasn't Subban I think people would in general of been much more excited for how well he progressed last year. |

Everyone complaining about players being cut needs to remember the people making the cuts are the professionals. |

I thought he still looked pretty slow from what I saw of the youngstars tourney. Hopefully he can improve as we have seen Bo and Gaunce do over the past couple of years. |

Dave Tomlinson said on the radio this morning that Willie pretty much wants his roster set with three exhibition games to go, not like last year. |

thanks Carol.
Cassels #assetmangement #firebennig #benningsucks #feelingspolice.
Realistically Canucks have 2 spots that they are looking to fill in forward group. Neither is Center. Cassels needs the time to gel and get as much playing time as possible this year to get back in the grove. This is a good move for him. On the flip side he could just suck and the brass had seen enough.
