Nurse and Fayne for Trouba... again |

Not sure your list is competing for 6 spots? There are 7 ahead of them so that leaves only 5 spots. I'm pretty sure the press box will have one D ( Stuart, postma or strait ) one F ( probably thorburn with pelluso going to moose to protect our kids down there ) and one goalie ( who knows which one but we won't expose hutch to waivers cause we need him for expansion draft ) so that list you posted can't be stashed in press box |

And I forgot Mathias, man competition at camp will be awesome!!! Can't wait to see Maurice answer questions about it in camp |

lets make this simple. bridge trouba as Peter said and trade him.... to edmonton for Puljujarvi. Oilers fans do not like this deal, I think it makes total sense for both teams.... Peter? common man, back me up on this one! |

It would be hard for Oilers fans to say no to that deal, TBH. |

JP is a RW and we have Lucic, Maroon and Pouliot on left wing. WTf are you talking about? |

What do you think it will end up costing for Trouba ? I love the hall trade but we lost a huge piece of our back end so I would love for Ray to go after Trouba or shattenkirk. It's just a matter of what pieces the jets and blues are looking at. I doubt either team has much interest in a first round pick and the Devils still have to be cautious as to what assets they can afford to give up without hurting themselves lol is Trouba a top pairing guy or does he have that potential and if and when he leaves would it be one of those " he is only a top four guy " lol |

I like Puljujarvi and it would be awesome to have him, but trading Trouba a top 4 d for him makes Zero sense for the Jets. This article points out exactly how many young forwards we already have and how competition will be fierce. What happens if we trade trouba and then one of Buff / Myers gets hurt? Who's our 2nd and 3rd pairing D then? Morriesey/Stuart and Chairot/Postma? ouch!! We are loaded with up and comming forwards if we are forced to trade Trouba we have to get a young NHL ready D back as part of any deal.

Being a fan of both teams, I can't see the Devils having the assets to get Trouba. Winnipeg needs a D that plays the left side more than anything else. It would start with Severson or Santini and would need ++ added on. Not a good fit for a trade.
I think Trouba definitely is top 4 and would very easily be a Top 2 if given the ice and PP time. He would be a nice fit for the Devils, but it's a terrible match trade wise. |

I don't recall ever hearing anything other than speculation that Trouba does not want to be a Jet. His alleged asking price is certainly not palatable to the Jets.
However, if traded, a LHD has to come back in the deal. |

Peter Tessier: What's the Next Move for the Jets
A few musings about what could happen next for the Jets. - Peter.Tessier
Maurice has said the best player is playing and if that player is Hellybuck then that's who'll play.
I really don't think the Jets organization will worry too much about losing Pavs or Hutch to waivers if they sent them down. In fact it would be a blessing to lose Pavs.
Thorburn will be with the team. Likely as the 13th forward who may draw in against some of the bigger team like the Blues. He's too well liked in the room. |

I will solve your problem friend:
To WPG: Jessie Pullijarvi, Darnell Nurse
To EDM: Jacob Trouba, Mark Stuart, JC Lipon, 2017 2nd round pick, Andrew Copp |

Teams have to expose one goalie under contract for 2017-2018. there are a ton of temas that can not do this right now, you dont think if Hutch went on waivers with his 1 million salary a team would jump on him for this exact purpose? why do you think we signed him for 2 years? |
