Yes. Way younger. McDavid is better than any player you listed, better than anyone in the entire world. Significantly.

Other than Panarin, all the Hawks players you listed are superior to the Oilers players, but whatever, McDavid is the King. He's going to outscore the rest of the league by over 20 points is my prediction.

Nationalism divides us all. I am a friend to all animals and all humans. But insulting my country isn't going to hurt my feelings when I just said I'm not a nationalist. Might want to check into the whole gun culture thing though before you start hurling insults at other people's culture.

I agree. However, it's worth asking if we underrate defense to the point where it's not that bad. Not sure you're digging the full nuance of this post at all.

As for the charts being flawed, they aren't. Just because you don't get the results you wanted or thought you'd get, doesn't mean you measured wrong.

In all ways that we have to measure defenseman impact, Jake Gardiner is defensively elite. Some guys score more, but he limits the shots, which is just as good. Also, on an improving team, I would wager he'll score more.

Jake a number 1 ? I like the way you think. That alone makes this a great blog.

2009-2010 Blackhawks had the best group of forwards in the cap era. Toews, Sharp, Ladd, Kane, Brouwer, Hossa, and Versteeg are tough to argue against.

You should know by now that tanner looks at charts, and doesn't actually watch the games. Decision making and poise aren't measure on those fantasy stats, therefore they do not exist.

how do you know that?

I for one am curious to see the impact of a change of teams for both subban and weber. if the charts work, their stats line should remain the same. based on how i understand the inputs, my suspicion is weber's stats will look better in montreal and subban's will be worse in nashville.

i actually hope they are very reliable for a full-some analysis; but i suspect their usefulness is limited.

i already miss war-on-ice. i thought they were the best.

minus: people implying that "All Lives Matter" is racist. I was at a Desiigner concert and one of the opening Hip Hop guys who was black told the crowd that all lives matter. Yes it undermines the Black Lives Matter movement that doesn't make it racist. BLM is a stupid movement and are only increasing racial tensions in the States.

Black Lives Matters brings attention to disproportionate force used against African Americans based on their race. That shouldn't be talked about because it increases racial tensions? Things should just remain the same? Unless you think the premise of Black Lives Matters is unfounded.If that's the case, your post makes total sense.
