Isn't lokomotiv the team with the plane crash tragedy with Brad Mc crimmon as the coach? Good for talbot continuing his career. If some team is willing to pay you, keep playing |

I was in a comedy club in Philly a year Talbot was made a Flyer and saw him come in. I knew it was him instantly and after the show I wanted to go over and say hi, and thought I would have to wait behind a lot of fans trying to get autographs. Plus, he had not one, but two girls with him.
Turns out; as I watched, not one person noticed him or approached him for an autograph or anything. I was amazed. My wife and I went over and said hi, and told him he was one of my favorite Pens players, talked about the whole car commercial Superstar! thing. He laughed and was happy that someone remembered that and noticed him. He even signed an autograph with his Pens number, not the Flyers number he wore.
So, can we please refer to Max Talbot - the one of Shhh fame and of two goals in Game 7 of the 2009 SCF's - as Former Penguin? Calling him anything else regardless of where he might had played afterwards in his career is like calling Franco Harris "Former Seahawk". |

Sad to hear Talbot's out of the NHL. Even as a Penguin, I always liked him. Great character for the game. |

No, we will call him a former Flyer. Comparing Maxime "Superstar" Talbot to Franco Harris is outrageous. This isn't like calling Martin Brodeur a "Former Blue." Talbot has his best offensive season here and was a warrior against the Penguins in the 2012 ECQF. |

But it's true.
Bernie Parent is a former Bruin. And a former Maple Leaf.

eh, go with the times
I look forward to the future NHL jerseys looking like nascar, plastered top to bottom with multicolored ads for huge corporations

I had a similar experience with Joe Pavelski in downtown San Jose. He was just sitting at the counter with Jason Demers eating lunch and no one noticed him but my coworker and me. I said hi to him at one point.
