are you saying the whole saving the franchise thing is based on a 35 year old 50 point RW?

Good leader....sure...franchise forward...um no.

It won't save the Yotes. It will prolong their death.

what is the cap situation in phoenix? are they under the floor or over?

i still highly doubt he leaves phoenix, i could see him signing a 2yr deal and if phoenix leaves after this season he will ask to be traded

i know he is a family man from all reports, but if his family is planted in phoenix and all, he may do what hedberg did and go elsewhere while his family stayed in atlanta (they are now moving to NJ) and kovy played 1.5seasons before moving his family up, so maybe doan does something like that

Ek himself will need to go to Phoenix with a big floppy hat in order to save the Yotes.

Real question: Is it worth paying Doan 6.5 million to kill the Coyotes?

Has it come to all transactions stopping waiting on Shane Doan? Really?

God I'll be glad when we no longer have these Phoenix daily updates.

Move the franchise to Japan, Egypt or Antarctica for all I care.

What a joke.

Does this not all show how illegitimate the PC are? They are like the computer generated team on EA Sports.

The team is frozen, unable to make trades, unable to sign players, unable to represent themselves to the league.

Time for this to end.

Currently, my NHL has 29 teams.

How much is too much for the Ed Snider's of the world. Ed wants him as a Flyer. Pegula wants him as a Sabre.

The NHL is really up a creek here.
- Eklund

I've never understood this phrase.

If you are up a creek without a paddle, you don't really have a problem. You are already up the creek. If you want to get down the creek, the current will take you.

Now, if you are down the creek without a paddle, you have a problem.
