8. The Buffalo Sabres send F Derek Roy and F Tyler Ennis to the Phoenix Coyotes in exchange for F Gilbert Brule and D Brandon Gormley.
No way the Sabres trade two of their centers for this |

i cant c how they get hosed.... hemsky is injury prone and they have a loaded top 6 without hemsky. Belanger is just a toss in cause he was meh all season. looks pretty fair imo |

If it were just a straight up trade between two teams I would like it, but neither Hemsky or Belanger help the Devils.
And how is it that Yost is convinced that Parise is re-signing yet Clouts is saying that he is 100% leaving?

You would only have to take on Kostitsyn, Radulov is an RFA/UFA
Edit: Scratch that they're both RFAs |

Hemsky is worth at least a mid first rounder on his own. Belanger is a solid fourth line center and one of the better face off guys in the league. Yakupov isn't a sure thing yet and despite some belief Edmonton needs way more offense in their top 6. Getting a 2nd round prospect this year and one next year does nothing to benefit us |

You make it sound like the Oilers are going to improve in 2012/2013. They won't. |

I think Burke would do that deal in a heartbeat. |

I think anyone would do that deal in a heartbeat. It's not quite every day that you could trade for the best D pairing in the league |

I would consider the EDM and NJD deal, but I would like to see EDM trade it again to get something else to help the team immediately. A draft pick at 29th, EDM can pick one of the goalies that maybe still available. |

I was sorta thinking along those lines. The Oilers could take the pick and their 2nd rounder to either trade up, or to acquire an actual player. |

Not saying I'm expecting much out of the team this year. Just think you could've squeezed a bit more out of a deal |

i hate when people say the 29th overall pick is practically a 2nd round pick and then people also say that a 32nd overall pick is practically a 1st round pick |

No to the Penguins deal.
Weber for Staal, Tangradi, 2013 1st, Harrington.
Despres and Morrow are untouchable. |

Untouchable is such a loaded word. I say Hall, Nuge or Eberle are untouchable. But if the Penguins offered of Evgeni Malkin for one of them...heck, maybe even two of them...they wouldn't be untouchable anymore.
Shea Weber is the best defenseman in the NHL. Keep that in mind. |

Toffoli?! No way. Offer Loktionov (who is wasted if someone else plays the 3rd line center) and someone else. Or hell, Bernier is gone once Quick extends. |
