As always

Just looking at who can be available at 10 I don't see why teams would trade their 1st rounder until the draft.

A lot of strong defenders left too, a lot of teams might gamble on some forwards but 10-20 could be pure D and people would go home happy, Ceci, Koekkoek, Rielly, Reinhart, Maata, Finn and so on

WSH is in a good position this year if they want to stock the cupboards.

It's a running joke. Somebody made up a rumour of him forging his passport and he is actually like 20 years old.

I think the Lightning will take Cody Ceci.

Starting now, this offseason could see a complete facelift of that franchise. They have so many interesting pieces that they could utilize. They should be one of the more active teams this offseason and I expect them to look a hell of a lot better come puck drop in the fall.

He'd be a solid choice. All I know is that if Vasilevski is still around for the second first I think Yzerman takes him, he doesn't seem to believe in the KHL scare.

I've heard people mention Faska going #5 to Leafs. What made you put Dumba there rather than him? Nationality? or is Dumba > Faska? potentially atleast.

I've also heard people mention that Brian Huddle > You. Can you Confirm or Deny this rumour?

He has tremendous offensive upside and would look good with Hedman and Barberio.

To be honest they weren't that bad come playoff time. The real kicker is losing Semin for nothing.

I do however wonder if they end up in the Nash sweepstakes.

I've got to disagree with the Wild taking Grigorenko at #7.

They have a ton of high end forward prospects in the system with many expected to crack the team this year. They will likely take a defenseman considering the great options available where they pick.

I'm guessing they take either Trouba or Reinhart. Assuming Trouba is gone by the time the Wild pick, they would have a hard time passing on a defenseman with Reinhart's size and reach.

You don't have to tell me, I've seen probably 95% of his games in junior. He'd look good anywhere.

I've been screaming Vasilevski since the world juniors.

Faksa shouldn't be in the top-5 he doesn't have the talent. As I mentioned in the last one, if the mock went down that way I see Burke trading down.

As far as that, Huddle is certainly larger than me. So I can confirm this.

I just can't even see Grigs being avaliable at #7 to begin with.

Minnesota would likely have:

Koivu
Granlund
Grigorenko

Down the middle next year. Pretty ridiuclous and that isn't even counting offensive wizard Zack Phillips. I think Minny goes D, specifically Trouba if he is still there.

Probably not in the same fashion as Huddle has been screaming "Faksa!" though...

That's probably true as well. I bet his Wild and Ducks picks go in reverse order.

Bahahaha nice...

So Faska lacks the high end ceiling compared to the others. I see maybe Burke should trade down. Pick him up and Gaunce. It just seems wrong to pick a D-man. I hope Burke picks the best guy avaliable.

Could be, I just see it that Coyle, Granlund and Phillips are all moving towards wing, Phillips is the only one that seems to be sticking and could legitimately make it. They would be stacked and could make some deals from a position of strength.

Yeah, add Charlie Coyle, Phillips, Jason Zucker, Brett Bulmer, and Johan Larson. They have a ton of quality forward prospects expected to contribute soon.

They have silky Jonas Brodin coming on D but clearly not as much depth at D as they have up front.

Yeah, it really depends what kind of trades they get involved in.
