You know how JV was concerned about how teams treat players on their second contracts and not just the ELC? Well, one of the conditions Vesey had before signing with the Rangers was that Drury be promoted to assistant GM so he could help with that second contract. Likewise, Jimmy Vesey is planning further down the line to when he can become Assistant GM working for Chris Drury who will become GM soon and they will take over the entire NY Ranger franchise.
