I'm not sure Panthers want him right now. Yes, they would love to have more goals, but he is obviously not playing well or the price would be high. He isn't a character guy, so why add that to a locker room. Ladd really makes the most sense. Trade a 1st round pick for Ladd for the next 3-4 months. Try to make a run with another guy with a ring, not with a pain in the a$$.

He is an insanely good prospect with good production numbers considering his limited playing time. He was a beast in the Qmjhl and has an insanely quick skillfull game with a great hockey IQ. 20 years old is too young to say he is unproven or a bust as he hasnt been given the opportunity to show his worth yet.

If the lightning lose Stammer, Drouin would be the first in line to take the throne in tampa.

His p/60 is among the top in the league. It's been injuries and lack of opportunity hurting his basic overall stats not a lack of production

Agree to disagree. Tampa controls him through next year on ELC and then through the RFA process. They don't have to do anything just because he's pouting. They could keep him in the AHL as the extra forward for years if they wanted to. He might want out but his leverage is minimal

hope the Jets are interested, he played great with Ehlers in halifax and the Jets have the prospects and picks to make it happen

People really have short memories. Anyone on here saying Yzerman won't get much in return for a highly skilled, low cost, young forward prospect because his agent has revealed they requested a trade seems to have forgotten what he got back for an over the hill Marty St Louis who publicly demanded a trade, to one specific team no less, because he was acting like a whiny petulant child after being rightfully left off the team Canada Olympic roster.
