Richie is having a good year, but it will be hard to match his output from '07-'09. He was ridiculous in those two seasons.

Same here. Very pleasantly surprised that trade worked out for both sides for the most part.

clifford doesn't look remotely the same guy as he was his first season, particularly in the playoffs. those concussions have to be adding up.

enough is enough, colin fraser no longer serves a purpose. i'd rather see the minutes to go vey.

toffoli looks great next to richards...so not sure what happens when carter returns, maybe he centers another line? three scoring lines would be nice.

The Kings look pretty solid but I gotta tell you I watched the Rangers/Kings game last night and that team of Miller and Fox broadcast crew are the worst in the nhl. It was Kings this and Kings that and 90% of the time Miller never even named the Ranger players name who had the puck or took shots. It was the biggest homer game broadcast I have ever seen. I thought Edwards of the Bruins was bad but he is nothing compared to the kings broadcasters, ruined a good game and found it very hard to watch as a neutral observer.

I can't wait to see Martin Jones but very likely he will ever be a starter for the Kings, but likley a starter one day on another team. Best goalie in the AHL.

I'm not sure what you expect from a home broadcast honestly. I've listened to nearly every tandem out there and I have to say the Kings guys are up there in the top 5-10 in broadcaster. They've been a little more homerish since they won the cup but they call an accurate game and give credit where it is due. If you are expecting neutrality on a home broadcast you are going to be disappointed 9 times out of 10.

flyerdude17, Thank God you aren't a talent scout. Bob Miller is one of the best in the business! As Jason pointed out, every teams announcers are biased. However Miller and Fox will give credit to where credit is due, rather its the kings or any other team.

My bottom five. Pittsburg, Philly, Detroit, Anaheim, NJ. In no particular order. NJ it's not so much the play by play but Chico. *Sigh*

EDIT: How could I forget Boston. I do like Edwards' enthusiasm but...yea...

That's a little rough. Homerism is all about bias. They may talk about the Kings quite a bit, but they are completely fair to opposing teams night in and night out. No phantom calls from the booth against the other side, no complaining about bad calls to the Kings. Bob not naming Ranger players is somewhat consistent over the past few years of misnaming King players. The guy is getting up there and close to retirement, but a gem in the broadcasting business. Has won an award from the NHL Hall of Fame, been inducted into several others, and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

We all have votes for the worst crews. But I would add one of the more enjoyable ones are Howie and Butch for the Islanders. Dallas too.

I think the Kings broadcast is a touch overrated these days. Bob Miller is a legend but as of late his reputation, is what's carrying his current status, as a top play by play guy today. Never was a fan of Jim Fox either; boring as can be.

The most underappreciated broadcast in the NHL, by far, resides in Dallas. So entertaining and informative; Daryl Reaugh(sp?) is the best analyst in the game, in my opinion.

Can't argue much on that. You can definitely hear Bob making more and more mistakes these days. I still love the guy though.

And absolutely agree on Razor.

If you watch the game, the Ranger players really didn't do anything to get their names mentioned. Bob and Jim are the best in the business, and like the great Chick Hearn in basketball, they are not afraid to knock the Kings players when they don't play well. We are blessed in LA to have Bob and Jim.

No need currently. Unless the Kings get another injury to someone or need the cap relief he'll probably stay off it.

And agree about Ralph and Razor. They are an absolute pleasure to listen to.

Whenever I watch Dallas broadcasts, no matter how bad the game is, I can always appreciate Ralph & Razor's quality of work.

Similar to Scully.

Hate seeing these two broadcasting "legends" (I hate using that word) start to mentally decline with age.

But I appreciate all the years of having them both (along with Chick Hearn for the Lakers).

Los Angeles has had some of the best broadcasters in sports for 20-30-40 years.
