Talk about selling the farm, maybe take Biggs out... I'd probably do it if they were under contract for a while, but Getzlaf might be available for free anyway.

I agree.... the way the Ducks are looking i would be surprised if he didn't bolt after his contract expires... but id rather acquire him through trade then try to compete with other teams frontloaded contract offers |

Most of the deals with Burke have either come from out of nowhere, no leaks.. or theyre failed deals that are revisited later so we had already heard about the failed attempt..like the JVR for schenn deal |

My ideal scenario would be acquiring his rights on the cheep.. maybe for franson or a second rounder at the draft, Besides if our young guys get to play more this year I don't mind 1 more season of ups and downs... Love the look of the top ten for the 2013 draft too |

 Its all based on potential, its not everyday you have a potential franchise goalie on the market for relatively cheap... I'm have no clue why people don't feel we could use a guy like this..... its not only about now its about building a stable future for the organization and hes a clear upgrade over Scrivens and IMO better then Reimer. FUKKK his ceiling is through the (frank)ing ceiling..

I want to see how he looks in camp after going through the Gary Roberts fitness regiment. I agree he has been frustrating for most of his career, but I just can't watch another former leaf draft pick turn into a star elsewhere. |

Rielly will make the team out of camp get a 9 game stint where he'll get 7 points playing on the bottom pairing with Franson but will still be sent down, we then go on an 73 game losing streak and miss the playoffs by just 4 points... oh sooo close
