Who said that? That's a pretty ignorant thing to say.

On the guns thing: The problem for America is that it's too late. You can't ban guns now, that doesn't stop all the guns already out there from working. Unless they somehow recover a massive percentage of the guns out there it's a horrible idea because the people who will hold on to them will be either a) criminals or b) nut cases. I agree that guns are needless, especially hand guns, but it's a "they made their bed and now they have to lay in it" scenario.

On Kulemin: I'm glad he re-signed, hopefully he bounces back from a bad year. If not then it's still not a terrible contract, not a great one but not terrible.

- deerow84

I think everyone has already forgotten (a terrible season will do that) how effective and how good Kulemin is/can be.

If he gets back into even 20+ goal form then there's a whole nother weapon we didn't have last year at all. He's a damn good player when he's on and at no point last year did anybody question his effort, it just wasn't clicking for him.

Then they get a free xbox and CoD MW3 for every gun they hand in

Silly don't you know it's video games and not mental instability that leads to mass shootings?

Guns period aren't necessary.

Remove 100% of all guns. Hunters don't need guns...if they truly love hunting as much as they say they do then they'll be perfectly happy with a cross-bow.
Or make the only legal guns be able to only fire once every 10 seconds.

The thing is though, hunters really aren't the people to worry about. I know if you ban guns then they also can't have guns, just saying they have rifles with a scope for a single shot kill, not a fully auto assault rife and hand guns.

The only thing Terrible about Kulemin's season was his shooting percentage, and therefore goals scored.

He was still rock solid defensively, still a + player on a terrible defensive team, and he only had 28 pts.

Indeed, depression and mourning can take a lot from you. Also I don't know if it was Kuli's positioning or not but I found he wasn't getting the passes from Mac anymore. Mac seemed to turn his game into a shoot first mentality (maybe he realized you get $ with goals, not assists?)

Then again, when does prohibition ever work? Look back at the '20s, when all it did was create organized crime, much like the drug wars of today. If people want guns, they will get them, just like anything else.

And by the way, It's really not fair to say Americans on a whole are not intelligent. I read this early and was offended. That's not true. It is as any other place where you have your fair share of 'winners'.

I'm guessing you being a Boston fan, that you may be from the Northeast. If that is the case, I exclude the Northeast from my earlier statement. I lived down in Florida, red neck country, and did most of my buisness in the southern states. With that said..... I stand by my statement.

I like Kulemin's 2 year deal. Gives him another 2 years to prove his value without too much of a commitment either way. Should also fit in regardless of what the new CBA calls for.

I've been killing people in video games sense I was like 11. You have to already have a screw loose if you think that translates to reality. The blame game is a mighty interesting phenomena. I've thought of if I were put in a situation in which I would have to kill someone, because of self defense, and I would, but still would feel remorse that I had to take someone's life. When I hear of these tragedies I always think to myself, how can you shoot someone just enjoying a summer flick? Like why? You don't even know them (most likely). I don't know the worlds a crazy place, just look at the Norway shooting last summer, where like 78 people were killed. smh

Meh on the Mac passes. I distinctely remember Kuli missing several point blanks that would have been money the year before.

As I said above, check his shooting percentage. It was 6.5%. That's aweful. Year he got 30 it was almost triple that, and his average the previous couple years was 11%, which I believe is closer to the league average.

I agree, I've always like Kulemin for his work ethic and defensive play. So even if he doesn't get back up to 30 goals if he can keep up the defense play it'll be an okay contract, like I said. If he can get back to 25+ goals or even 30+ goals and keep his defensive play then it's an absolute steal.

Yeah but majority of those guys are in the back country, and no one's really going to care. An "out of sight, out of mind" and there's enough guns out there that most will be grand fathered and like how weed is illegal, there will be "parts" stores or equipment to clean with etc. still available. Well, in a what if scenario.

People with guns in a city with the closest wild life is 100miles away is what gets me. Maybe they can have a "reserve" locker outside and guns are not allowed within city limits.

If he gets 15G, 45 pts, and is a + player, it's a great deal. Anything above that makes it exceptional.

I am. Boston to be specific. Probably one of the better educated areas around.

Still will respectfully disagree. The south is also, just a completely different lifestyle you can't really hold that against them.

Anyway I digress.
