Canucktard, Oilpatch Doll, Habstard or Sensturd! Flames? They're going up in them! - PrinceLH
Dominating these teams would be better to me than making up nicknames that make us feel better TBH.

Him or Kadri. I could care less about bozak at this point. Carlyle and burke seem very keen on JVR at center and i am on the same boat as well because i believe JVR can be that player to make that transition and be better at center than the wing. Why? Because he was never given the proper chance in philly, philly had too many centers, he even stated he was never even looked at once for center in philly because they had too many centers, and since he played center before philly, i would think JVR is fully capable of making the transition and reaching his full potential. As for my thoughts, he is a player who didnt really progress at a high rate on the wing as a 1st Round Guy despite the fact he sniped 20 goals. Alot of centers snipe 20 goals. Maybe he can reach his potential at center? This is probably another reason why burke made this trade. For his size and his two-way scenario. - Mapleleafs_91
I just don't see it working, and Burke said he doesn't see him as a center. But Carlyle wants to give him a try. My issue with him at center is he isn't a playmaker. We have a sniper on that line already. Kadri might work though. |

I dont want Lu, he just doesnt fit in our timeline - peddy-93
Not with our current roster, your right but a couple key moves and someone likeLu fits in over the next 6 years and is worth it, Im not a big Lu fan but a top goalie in the league for a few years if you can turn it around with some trades is worth it.

Kessel is one hell of a player dont get me wrong, 82 pts in 82 games is amazing... but we really needed a center and seguin at center would of helped us more than kessel. Especially if we paired seguin with kadri. - Mapleleafs_91
It kind of works both ways though, if we had Seguin at center we would need somebody who racks up the goals. Maybe Kadri could be that guy, maybe not. |

Not just Seguin .... Dougie Hamilton and Jared Knight are not that bad but Nashville offer the same package so Burke had to match that to get Kessel
At least Edmonton took the always injured Taylor Hall they made the biggest mistake |

Yeah, but they come here and insult our intellegence. We have enough of our own fanboy types, that defy any logic that can be ascertained. |

If Burke makes any idiotic trade, because he's out of Irish Whisky, or Holy Wine, he needs to be taken to the gangplank and forced to walk it, until he falls into Boston Harbour. - PrinceLH

He would handcuff us, like Bryzgalov is doing to the Flyers. The Flyers will never win, with him between the pipes. They're also stuck with Prongers cap hit, so they only have a few years of a window to win the Cup. Once all of their younger talent gets to their RFA and UFA years, they're handicapped with Bryz, Weber and Prongers contracts eating up a large chunk of cap space. Why would you want to do the same with the Leafs, and we're not even a playoff team? |

I would prefer Hall. Just my opinion though, still too early to say.
