Im definitely all for getting Ryan, even now if it means moving Ennis. If your ever going to have a good shot at grabbing him, do it now while the Flyhers are pre-occupied with all the Weber drama. That being said, id still love to have Doan

As for the Weber sheet, gotta give philly credit for being ballsy, but then again this could just screw them in the long run. As someone on Twitter pointed out last night (might have been Dregger, I was half asleep when reading it), a few teams were already trying to trade for him (After hearing the Suter news yesterday, id be willing to bet Buffalo was in the mix somehow). So Nashville could just match the sheet, telling Philly to F off and just trade him somewhere else for probably a much better return then what 4 1st round picks would be

philly? not sure they can afford that unless they make some major moves..

who really knows what he is going to do.. and frankly i don't care anymore. If we get him for the amount we are roomered to have offered i do not think that is a great thing.

the NHL standings and geography.

it's tough for a harsh-weather small market city to be attractive to UFAs unless they're contenders. hell, even huge markets like Montreal and Toronto are unattractive destinations unless they're good teams.
