Twas amazing. Minus the velociraptor being driven around by a girraffe during the holiday parade

Bars open up at 10 am. They were giving us free drinks because we were from Buffalo. Everyone was respectful. Minus the 4 teenagers who tried starting a fight with us outside of the bar. Bouncers literally picked them up, moved them and invited us in for more free drinks.

The area right outside the arena is a great area. We stayed a 10 min walk away, adn it was fairly priced.

We are thinking of going back every year.

Buddy of mine has familly down there so he and his wife went to 2 of the playoff games in Nashville. He sais it was cool and what not but he said the fans are into it, but everything felt scripted. He said it was too civil after the games when they won. Just to f-around in traffic he started beeping his horn buffalo style like "lets go Buffalo", he said people freaked out. Thought there was a problem.

Unfortunately I think there is some truth to this.

What'd you expect them to say....Lindy Ruff is a GIANT a$$hole....Sure he has some good in his coaching style, but for the most part I don't think his players enjoy playing for him.

actually i disagree that hes an a$$hole ....... i think ruff last year tried multiples things to get the players motivated:

He tried being nice
he tried light pratices
he tried hard practices after a bad game
He tried being hard on them by yelling / screaming

I think the last one worked the best ...but thats me.

Just got home from meeting Phil Esposito. Super nice guy with a great sense of humor

My friend had his HOF jersey to get signed and Espo was asking him about all the different sigs on it and he noticed Hasek was on it already. he didnt know Hasek was trying to come back and went on a small rant about him being too old and that he should just "give it up man, your 46 years old for Christ sake"

When it was my turn in line I asked him if Hasek should go backup Lindback in Tampa, Espo says to me "theres about as good of a chance of that happening as a snowball dropping on my head". Pretty funny stuff
