You're joking right?

1. Kreider:A big, fast, power forward scorer to complement Nuge and Eberle. - yet that's what Hall is...

2. This trade doesn't address the Oilers needs this year

3. McD had one good year...

4. and you want another 1st rounder???

5. None of the fantastic four will be moved for at least a few years

I can't put enough 'duh' emoticons on this one...

- BigDre

1. kreider is like a slightly worse version than hall so you slightly decline your offense but bolster ur defense tremendously. and kreider is faster than hall.

3. McD had one and a half good seasons...his ONLY one a half seasons in then nhl. do you want me to post some highlights??

4. the trade without a first/other asset is in your favor.

5. obviously not lol. this is just for fun to see how we value each others players.

I'm not a fan of us taking on Nash's contract whatsoever. But if we could swing a 3 way trade to bring in Dougie Hamilton I'd be all for it. Another season of last place hockey would hurt to watch but it would be worth it long term. He will be a #1 dman and a future top pairing of Hamilton Klefbom makes me errect just thinking about it

"Kreider's biggest weapon is obviously his speed, and from his first game to his most recent ones, he's gradually learned when to use that speed and when to use it well. He's been explosive in the neutral zone when the puck is coming his way or even when it is on his stick, he hunts down pucks in the offensive zone with ease and he clearly has the ability to blow past opponents to create scoring chances just as we saw on his goal on Saturday. And might I add that he scored that goal at the end of his shift. Yes, he left the Caps defense in the dust at the end of his shift.

Honest question here: Is there a faster player in the NHL right now than Chris Kreider? I'd say no, and if there is, I've yet to see him."

"First, Kreider comes with elite, world-class speed. He is actually rumored to be faster than Carl Hagelin, the same Cark Hagelin who just won the NHL's Fast Man Competition, and the same Carl Hagelin who, at 5'11" and 182 lbs., is roughly four inches shorter and 40 pounds lighter than Kreider."

http://espn.go.com/blog/n...y/tag/_/name/carl-hagelin
"Known for his size and speed -- some even think he is faster than Hagelin -- Kreider opted to forgo his senior season at Boston College and sign with the Rangers earlier this week."

You are an idiot. Why doesn't Columbus just wait for the best offer? Gagner and Hemsky won't get you anyone good. Keep dreaming.

Let's not get carried away, he won the fastest skater contest at the all star game. So out of the players that were at the all star game, and who decided to take part or we're elected to take part in that event he was the fastest skater in the NHL. Cogliano is probably still faster than he is, Bret Lebda would probably smoke him.

it really depends on the ++.

mcdonagh could honestly be traded for any one of your superkids in a 1 for 1 trade and it would be fair to be honest. losing him for n. schultz would be a HUGE hit for our defense.

then losing kreider for hall is a solid upgrade in offense but i'm not sure if it's enough to warrant losing McD. i expect kreider to be a 25-35 goal scorer and hall a 30-50 goal scorer so it's a decent upgrade but i don't think those extra 10ish goals warrants giving up the future best defenseman in the NHL.

it depends on that ++.

show me evidence saying hall is faster than kreider.

no need to be stubborn. hall is the better overall player but kreider has more speed. nothing wrong with admitting that....

you're just being a little female dog now lol.

hagelin is the fastest skater in the nhl. fact.

therefore, hagelin is faster than hall. fact.

i showed you the first 3 sources on google that ALL stated kreider is faster than hagelin. i could find 20 more if i had the time.

how about this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vfFZOQWkawY

at the END of his 40 second shift, kreider takes like 3 or 4 strides and is through the neutral zone and almost at the top of the circles.... IN JUST 3 OR 4 STRIDES. WHILE HE'S TIRED.

show me more proof of hall being faster than kreider because i think i've shown enough evidence to back my claim.

you haven't shown me anything. it's your turn buddy.

It has already been established that it would take RNH + 2013 1st + Gagner + Hemsky. I even doubt that gets Nash. Nash is in a league of his own...

i'm saying he's faster than hall and probably faster than hagelin so he's probably the fastest in the nhl.

there's no way to prove it and at one point the little bit of difference in speed betwene the fastest skaters doesn't really matter but kreider is definately up there.
