Awesome clip of Tarnasky getting his brains bashed in by Lucic. Way to pump up the fans about this signing, Garf.

Actually, after watching 5 or 6 of his fights, I don't think I saw him win one.

we need a face palm emoticon... (not just the "duh" one)

Grigorenko will NOT play on the 4th line... Girgensons right now has a better shot than Grigs to make the team as the 3C.. Ott is not a C even if you just put him there for show that he would take draws... and Scott will not be an every night player

I thought I read that any contract offered to Brennan had to be 1-way, true?? No way he would pass through waivers if that is the case, the blueline is getting more and more over staffed. They have to have some sort of move in the works.

I don't think teams are lining up to snatch TJ Brennan off waivers from us.

its sad when I type in Andrej Sekera highlights onto Youtube and the first 5 things that come up are...

"Sekera score the first preseason goal"

"Sekera gets dropped by Sobotka"

"Sabres/Bruins Game 3 highlights"

"Sekera scores the GWG vs NYR in 2008"

stick trade value

if you only give grigerenko 10 mins of ice time a nite your're wasting him. If lindy did that he be fired

We can "place" him in the AHL before the season starts... ala Morrisson and Kotalik. But if we were to ever try to call him up to Buffalo he would then go through waivers.

that was my point..

Grigs or Girgensons in the NHL.. they will be one one of the 3 scoring lines. They both can player winger or center even.

Tarnasky earned 173 PIMs in the KHL last season.

He's the perfect guy to call-up and battle Lucic and the Bruins

Good call Garth....

I wonder sometimes if Garth actually reads what he writes. Perhaps he's planning a stand-up comedy tour. That would explain the funny material.

Correct me if I'm wrong but 2-way contracts are monetary only meaning you get paid a lesser amount in the AHL than you would playing in the NHL.

Let's look to the future...
After next season:

RFAs
Hodgson, Cody ($1,666,666)
Weber, Mike ($950,000)
Enroth, Jhonas ($675,000)

UFAs
Scott, John ($600,000)
Ellis, Matt ($525,000)
Regehr, Robyn ($4,020,000)
Leopold, Jordan ($3,000,000)
Pardy, Adam ($2,000,000)
Sulzer, Alex ($725,000)

Other than Hodgson and Regehr, do we resign anyone else??

I think we try to keep Enroth but don't see it happening. We keep Regehr but probably for less $$, possibly Leo too. I think everyone else gets walking papers
