Yep. Sounds pretty typical. Woman = free things.
Used to drive me crazy going to the bar with my some of my female friends.
I'd spend 20 bucks to get a partial buzz on and they'd get sloshy without spending a dime. All they had to do was stand there and look hot.

That's why I don't buy random women drinks. They want to be equal so bad, they can spend their time talking to me and maybe I'll buy them a drink. But I'll never buy a drink for some random girl who looks cute. |

Yes, Rochester has tons of forwards right now if the start of the NHL season is delayed from a lockout. Here's what we would be looking at for the start of the Amerks season:
CENTER: Z, Hodgson (R), Varone (L), Adam (L), Porter(L), Sundher(L), Schofield (L), Tarnasky (L)
LW: Foligno, Lagace, Boychuk, Rankin
RW: Mancari, Flynn, Tropp, Szydlowski, Parker
Who goes to the ECHL? - Jacob582
Rankin, boychuk, Parker, possibly szydlowski |

Honest question....If Gerbe and McCormick are included in the same deal, what the hell would the return be? A 7th rounder? - rmiethaner
If in the same deal, then something like a Tim Connolly or Matt Lombardi.......maybe a Matt Cullen or Danny Cleary would come to Buffalo;
I can see McCormick and Leopold going to Minnesota for Brodziak and Bouchard; or Cullen and Bouchard; or even Clutterbuck and Bouchard.....Minnesota needs to clear some more cap room to also sign another defenseman like Hannan, Spacek or Coliacovo. This type of deal assumes Doan does not come to BUffalo;
Also, Cleary becomes available if Doan goes to Detroit, but Doan has to see Detroit as being the downswing, so I cannot imagine he heads there.
Its Phoenix, LA, Pittsburgh or Buffalo (just my opinion) for Doan.
Nash will end up with the Rangers
Ryan probably in Philadelphia or Toronto.

Berglund gives you the big center with upside;
Oshie gives you a center with lots of tenacity ......the Ken Linseman of this day and age..... |

Yeah I understand Berglund offers more size but I like Oshie as a player quite a bit more. |

Other guys buy my girl drinks and she just gives them straight to me. Pretty good deal for me, sucks for that other guy. |

Yes, after all these years I see Detroit will go on a big downswing soon enough. They haven't been drafting at the top of the draft for a while, so far this season they are no longer attracting UFA, and Lidstrom is gone. |

Ok, then: a small downswing for a long time. |

Its almost inevitable. Hes not a part of the Sabres plans this season. They would have signed him like they did with Girgs. Hes going to be playing in juniors or in the KHL making money. |

Last Regier stated was that they are still working on the contract with Grigorenko. Z was different. He can play in Rochester this year. Grigorenko cannot. |

i wouldn't be so quick to dismiss that.
sure he says he only wants "to play NHL." if Sergei Fedorov comes knocking with a bunch of money, he's probably going to at least go to the door. |
