I can't wrap my (frank)in head around the contradiction if this asinine post.

If they were to take aforementioned bottom of the 1st round picks, they would ALSO have to take 14 years of Shea Weber playing the opposing team top lines in all situations for 26-27 minutes per game.

I think my post was pretty damn simple.
The preds were seen last season as a team that could contend for the cup.

They already lost Suter. And now, they are about to lose what many see as the best defenseman in the game. All that, for picks that may or may not pan out as good/great NHLers.

They are a fragile franchise in terms of income/fanbase.

So taking all that into account, you're telling me that 4 1st round picks is enough to cover the damage caused by the loss of their best player/team captain?

The scary part about this for them is the fact they are in Nashville, will they be competitive enough without Weber and Suter long enough to last in Nashville until those draft picks are able to help the team? Or will the fans see/take it as another reason to not bother to go see games?
