like the majority of the people that post here, i think that Couturier is going to grow into a player similar to Jordan Stall (perhaps not with the offensive firepower). but, i'm not sure how big of a step he takes this year to become a DEFINITE number 2/3 center. and it's yet to be seen that Schenn is a mr. automatic at either of those as well. i'm confident both can be for sure, but if the Flyers can't/won't sign a winger for the top line, i do think getting a veteran number 2/3 center like Arnott can help. signing him can make for a variety of line combos that can put more effective players on the ice to create favorable matchups. it enables the flyers to use Jake, Briere, Schenn, Talbot, AND Coots on the wing on any of the top 3 lines, and gives them much more size down the middle.

i'm sold on it for the right price.
