He's 25 and performed well in a limited role. He's never played a minute on NA ice. See what he's got and let him role. He doesn't fight well, he's a midget with an attitude that can swear in 12 languages I think he'll probably start in the AHL unless there are injuries. - AdamFrench
Yeah, didn't think he was a fighter. I want a guy who finishes his checks and draws penalties and can actually play the game to a certain degree (i.e. no fighters) or a straight up banger/crasher/mucker that can hit like a truck and can kill penalties.
I don't mind a fighter (Orr) on the bench unless we're playing the Bruins, Ottawa, etc. though.
both are pretty even, but the voters gave Orr the win in both fights... I tend to agree.
you can see Orr wipe Lucic there too. Starts pretty even, then Orr takes over and messes his face. Lucic had a look of "(frank) me" on his face after. Don't think he'd been handled like that before. - Big_Lightnin
The only thing to remember with this, IS Orr is a paid fighter on skates and Lucic is a player that puts up some pretty good numbers.. I would have Lucic on my team any day... matter of fact, I'll take 20.

Not if you include goal tending buddy. Not gonna break down a whole roster but thats simply not true. We almost beat Canada last Olympics and that team has some players that weren't very good including Kessel who wasn't good yet.

Feel free to put Bryan McCabe on the list, too.
We ran him out of town because JFJ kept increasing his contract offer, despite the fact that McCabe told him flat out that it had nothing to do with money, he just couldn't sign a contract until they got back medical news about his wife. Of course he was going to sign that contract - who wouldn't?
Oh, and he shot a puck in his own net. Yeah, he's terrible. Run him out of town!

McCabe was terrible at the end of time with the leafs....he couldn't hit the net, his corkscrew move was no longer allowed.
He simply was bad and needed a change of scenery.

Funny you should say that.
My brother's favourite pastime is to rip the Leafs (it's kinda his act, even though he actually loves the Leafs).
Anyhoo, he went to a charity dinner last year, and Kevin Lowe was there. He ended up having a couple of wobbly pops with him after the dinner.
So my brother starts in with the Phaneuf sucks talk.
Lowe shut him down pretty quick. Basically said that Phaneuf is one of the elite players in the league, and anyone who says otherwise doesn't know what the hell they are talking about. - Atomic Wedgie
