nvm what I just said..

I wouldn't mind Grigorenko playing as our 2C either to get him the experience..

I think a lot depends on who is at his wings..

If it is Ott and Ryan.. I would drool in happiness... if it was Leino I would punch a kitten.

- JVince11

so theoretically....

Sabres signed TJ Brennan and Nick Tarnasky.

I said we should sign Tarnasky multiple times last year. Now we just need John Mirasty

I just don't know where Hodgson, Ennis, Catenacci, and Sundher will all fit in by then.
- JVince11

You can always do what the best teams do, and have two centers on a line, moving one of them to wing.
Much easier to do that then the opposite.

only thing that worries me about getting another physical guy is this team getting caught going the opposite direction and other teams passing them by. this occured when we had all the small, fast and skilled players.

That seems to be the Philly model and it's worked out pretty well for them over the years.

never say never.

regardless, i'm talking about the organization as a whole. when we didn't have enough skilled players, it felt as if they pushed all the chips to the center of the table and drafted/signed/traded for a bunch of players who could dangle in a phone booth.

i just hope they don't go too far with bringing in a bunch of tough guys. i'm just asking for a good mix, that's all.

The games down in the A are quite a bit more tough than in the NHL. I'm sure they're just looking to make sure that the guys down there aren't getting pushed around all the time.

McNabb can stand up for himself, Brennan isn't afraid to mix it up if he has to, and Finley did a good job last year, but they're all D men and you don't always want them to be the ones fighting. You short yourself on the blueline for 5 minutes when you do that.

Tarnasky would be a interesting fit as a 4C.. allows McCormick to move to Winger.

McM - Tarnasky - Kaleta

Scott - Weber/Regehr

enter the ice like the Ottawa-Buffalo Brawl.

I'm sorry that I'm old school.. I love guys that are physical and will crack someone right upside their head for saying the wrong thing..
