The LA Kings Have no Real fans, that is all. - pker2theend
Havent heard that one b4. Good job.
For the record I never mentioned one thing about winning the Cup. NSH fan wanted to insist I was because I dont care to hear or read about the NSH organization. I guess that is his problem and anyone elses who care about that franchise not mine.

So true. Their local news channels don't even know they have a team. But at least the Clippers played in the Cup Finals.

Where is Bernier going?
No news on Doan front? What a suprise...Just stay in PHX and lose Doan
Nash and Howson are both idiots.....nothing new to report there.
SJ thinks they can afford any FA or trade for a player like Nash or Ryan...which is stupid.
No one cares about NSH.
Philly is involved in everything including Schilling's bloody sock from 2004

Well, if you don't care to read about a NSH organization, then maybe you shouldn't read and post on an article about the potential trading of Shea Weber.

It's disgusting to think corporations are considering paying people that much money to "play a sport they love" when children are starving to death. Kinda makes me sick - marklaprise

You have to admit though If it wasn't for winning the cup this year your team would be the next Atlanta with all that money they put into the cap. Not making excuses or anything, but if we have Daniel and a healthy kesler (NSH fans know) it would have been a different series. Not saying you guys didn't deserve the cup though. |

Great points. Wasn't too fond of Suter jumping ship, but hell, Minnesota fans deserve to be contenders after the last few years. I just hate to see Nashville possibly tank. I have a lot of respect for their organization; I don't know many that would suspend two of their top offensive talents for being out too late. - caneschamp07
Great points, I think Barry Trotts deserves a lot of credit for keeping a small market team uber competitive year in and year out. |

LA isnt in debt I think you are mistaking them for the teams the beat, NJ or PHX.
And for your comment about having a healthy team. YOU HAVE TO BE LUCKY TO WIN THE CUP. LA was very very very lucky. |

Name one such issue other than injuries. He plays really good hockey when healthy, but he's injured all the time. It's as simple as that.
I saw in the other thread you postured him as a guy who's averaged 33 points in his last three seasons. He's also of course averaged 46 games only. To put it another way, 100 points in his last 138 games (which sounds equally slanted, doesn't it). Dude's a bandaid, that's it. He hasn't disappointed in any other way. - Morris
It's all relative! Whether he plays every game and averages 33 points, or plays 46 games and averages 33 points. If he's not on the ice for half of every season, then he's no better than the games he does play in. I get what your saying, but if he can't stay healthy, he's a liability and not worth the hype that the Edmonton organization likes to surround him with. It's the same thing with the Wild, ie. Latendresse and Pierre Marc Bouchard. Both great players who can't seem to stay on the ice. No way PMB is worth the 4.5 million he makes. When he was healthy he was averaging just under 60 pts a season, last 2 he's averaged 30. Both Hemsky and Bouchard have had very similar careers. Very good players early in their careers and can't stay on the ice over the latter part of their careers. Both wasted the primes of their career being injured...
Aside from that, I think Hemsky has always been slightly over rated. |

Fans need to get over the fact that LA isnt a hockey city but have a Cup. For example just take a look at Anaheim; their franchise has half the fans of LA but never get disrespected for winning the Cup. Why? Because no one cares about Anaheim.
EVRYONE hates LA and their sports Dodgers, USC, Lakers.....It is nothing new to me.
It doesnt offend me that a canadian or east coast bias hockey fan hates LA because that is sports and I love it.

Does the 'Edmonton organization' include posters on hockeybuzz, or is Steve Tambelini writing odes to Hemsky that I'm not aware of? |
